Magpie V2

Made from carbon fiber and 3D printed ABS plastic, Magpie is the most powerful Daedalus Spinning Wheel to date. More than enough speed/power for the most advanced spinner, yet it can easily be dialed to slow speeds for the beginner. Although the largest in the flock, it's still more portable than a traditional treadle wheel. Our most powerful and adaptable wheel to date, with an RPM (rotations per minute) of 2,350 with the standard flyer in use (1,450 with the art flyer—still worlds ahead of most e-spinners). We consider this our “all in one” spinning wheel, as it will spin fine singles as easily as it will spin your longest locks, super bulky yarn, coils and beehives, and every single yarn you can imagine in between.

Shipping Time Frame

While our Magpies are already assembled, the trim color you have selected will be printed upon the creation of your order. After printing, the small trim parts will need to be assembled before your Magpie is ready to be shipped out.

If, for some reason, we do not have the flyers you have purchased already assembled, they will be printed, assembled, and ready to go within approximately 10-14 days.

If there are additional items that need to be printed and assembled, this will tack on additional time needed before your order can be shipped.

Shipping Charges

Shipping Multiple Large Items
When making an order in the shop or paying for a custom invoice all shipping charges are calculated at checkout time. However, should you order two large items such as a wheel and a winder or two winders they will need to be shipped separately. Due to this an invoice for extra shipping will be required.
